Design & Material Selection
Our in-house designer develops your plans and guides every selection — tile, cabinetry, fixtures, finishes. You approve every detail before a wall is touched.
Permits & Pre-Construction
We handle all permitting directly with San Diego's DSD. You never deal with city bureaucracy. We manage every approval and keep the project on schedule.
Construction & Final Walkthrough
Your dedicated PM coordinates every trade and provides daily updates. We clean up every evening. We don't call it done until you do.

Dotan started his career in civil engineering — the kind of work where precision isn't optional and a mistake on paper becomes a problem in concrete. That mindset didn't leave him when he moved into home renovation. It became the standard he holds every project to.
After years inside the industry, watching good homeowners get burned by fragmented processes — separate designers, separate remodeling contractors, no one communicating — he founded Optimal on a different premise: design and construction had to be one thing, owned by one team.
